Job summary

Applied Composites in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Quality Technician/Materials Tester for 1st shift to support the quality team. You will perform examinations and inspections on products, materials, and components to ensure they meet specifications and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Years’ Experience: 4-6 years in quality testing.
• Skills: inspection of products, materials, and components; ability to read blueprints; proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Conducts examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components.
• Provides detail analysis, troubleshooting and evaluation of components, assemblies and systems.
• Maintains documentation records and data on tests performed.
• Recommends quality control solutions to complex problems and implements corrective actions.
• Sets up or builds special test panels to facilitate testing and/or evaluation as needed.
• Performs internal audits based on established criteria and records the results.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
