Job summary

Accelera in Monroe, NC is seeking a self-driven quality control professional to join our lab team. You will evaluate raw components, perform visual inspections, and operate lab equipment to support manufacturing quality.

The role requires attention to detail, independence, and basic Excel skills; you must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and work with a forklift as needed. This is a day shift, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and capable of working independently.
• Working knowledge of Excel required.
• Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and verify raw components before manufacturing.
• Perform visual checks on incoming supplies and final products.
• Use specialized lab equipment to assess materials (melt flow, density, compression, extruder tests).
• Monitor daily production output to ensure quality.
• Operate lab extruder and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Maintain a safe workspace and calibrate instruments as needed.
• Organize samples and keep testing records.
• Oversee quality paperwork for materials and finished products.
• Identify non-conforming materials and generate rejection documentation.
• Transport materials with a forklift around the facility.
• Extract pellet samples for weighing and testing.
