Position Summary:

The Quality Engineer Technician develops and implements quality plans, inspects products and materials, and sets inspection standards to meet customer expectations. Provides technical and administrative support to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control and document in-process and final characteristics to meet customer requirements.
  • Assist with calibration tasks.
  • Train personnel in inspection of materials and products for conformance.
  • Conduct measurement studies such as FAIR, capability studies, and GR&R.
  • Operate PCMM and/or DCC CMM to run programs.
  • Assist with ballooning of part prints and creating FAIR documents.
  • Facilitate Corrective Action teams and support Zero Defects and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with customer communication (RMA, NMR, Corrective Action replies).
  • Support internal audits and ECN processes.
  • Support testing to evaluate process effectiveness.
  • Assist operators with quality issues on the floor.
  • Ensure compliance with Fathom Quality System and safety policies.
  • Complete documentation accurately and meet attendance policies.
  • Collaborate with team members and share information effectively.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Associate degree or relevant technical certification/experience.
  • 1-2 years related experience.
  • Experience with MS Office & Adobe; CAD knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use measuring tools.
  • Knowledge of inspection equipment; ASQ certification and CMM/PCMM experience are pluses.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and communicate in English.
