Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Quality Technician II for 1st shift (Mon-Thu 6:00 AM–4:00 PM) in Olive Branch, MS. The role focuses on inspecting product quality and ensuring conformance to specifications within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will create quality reports (NCMRs, SCARs, CARs), conduct audits, manage scrap disposition, and measure tolerances with gauges. Strong problem solving, attention to detail and basic math/computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

High School or GED diploma is required.
Forklift/Reach truck driver preferred.
Leadership experience preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and time management.
Working knowledge of basic measuring equipment.
High attention to detail.
Ability to perform work per instructions and within reasonable time.
Must possess basic math and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Inspect the quality of product and material, following procedures to ensure part and material conformance per specifications.
Create and complete Quality Standard reports (NCMR's, SCAR's and CAR's) and enter information into database.
Perform product and workplace audits with documented results.
Control scrap or rejected parts until disposition is determined.
Collect and prepare samples for shipment or testing.
Use gauges and other equipment to measure tolerances and dimensions.
Utilize MRB (material review board) processes.
Practice 5S and Safety.
Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned.

Your Role on Our Team

The Quality Technician II is responsible for inspecting the quality of product and material, following procedures to ensure part and material conformance per specifications. The Quality Technician should be driven to seek out, disposition, and correct problems, and can work with minimum supervision.

You will be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities

Inspect incoming material and parts per quality specification after being received
Create and complete Quality Standard reports (NCMR's, SCAR's and CAR's) and enter information into database
Perform product and workplace audits with documented results
Control scrap or rejected parts until disposition is determined
Collect and prepare samples for shipment or testing
Use gauges and other equipment to measure tolerances and dimensions
Utilize MRB (material review board) processes
