Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Quality Technician II for 1st shift to inspect incoming materials and ensure conformance to specifications. You will generate quality reports, conduct audits, and manage scrap per MRB processes, while collecting samples and using gauges to verify dimensions.

The role emphasizes strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and adherence to 5S and safety practices in a production environment.

Qualifications

  • High School or GED diploma required.
  • Forklift/Reach truck driver preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming material and parts per quality specification after receipt.
  • Create and complete Quality Standard reports (NCMR’s, SCAR’s and CAR’s) and enter information into database.
  • Perform product and workplace audits with documented results.
  • Control scrap or rejected parts until disposition is determined.
  • Collect and prepare samples for shipment or testing.
  • Use gauges and other equipment to measure tolerances and dimensions.
  • Meetings & Admin; Report Generation; Communication/Follow-up; 5S and Safety.
