Job summary

MSI Express, INC is seeking a Quality Technician for 2nd shift in Illinois to ensure product quality through daily line audits and compliance with customer and regulatory standards. The role involves approving batches, performing lab checks, and monitoring processes to meet core quality requirements.

Responsibilities include performing analytical tests, physical material testing, and reporting issues per SOPs.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform daily line audits and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in basic lab techniques and using testing equipment.
• Capability to follow SOPs and document results accurately.

Responsibilities

• Approve/correct batches and verify quality checks.
• Perform lab checks per SOPs and monitor specified items.
• Conduct pre-ops and preventive control checks.
• Notify appropriate personnel on noncompliance and follow SOP tasks.
• Perform analytical tests (e.g., pH, DS, Vit C) per procedures.
• Test raw materials and finished product against specs.
• Conduct audits for raw materials and product on hold.
• Maintain food safety and quality within scope and report issues promptly.
• Follow all company safety and manufacturing policies.
• Coach line staff on data collection on the line.
