Job summary

BTD is seeking an inspector to perform in-process inspections and assist production with technical questions. You will use calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure parts meet specifications and read blueprints for accurate workmanship.

You will also generate non-conformance reports, enter data into Axapta, and continuously learn about parts and processes while adhering to safety and QA standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Experience with basic shop equipment and inspections.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform math calculations.
• Familiarity with inventory and MS Excel/Outlook/Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and setup inspections as needed.
• Use basic inspection tools to verify parts.
• Perform basic math for inspection tasks.
• Create non-conformance notices and communicate findings.
• Expand knowledge of parts and production processes.
• Enter patterns into Axapta inventory system.
• Follow QA processes and safety rules.
• Create permanent and temporary patterns as required.
• Adhere to BTD safety and quality systems.
