Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Quality Technician I to support manufacturing with quality concepts and continual process improvement to meet customer expectations. You will verify dimensions, release parts with correct documentation, and assist on the shop floor with measurement techniques.

The role requires basic GD&T, data collection, and the ability to operate FARO and Micro-Vu equipment. Onsite Kentucky location offers a strong team environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in metal fabrication environment with inspection or equivalent education/experience.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small groups.

Responsibilities

• Release product for shipping with proper documentation per customer requirements.
• Apply GD&T concepts in QA processes.
• Perform dimensional verification of PPAP and first article parts.
• Support production by interpreting and developing manufacturing documentation and teaching measuring techniques.
• Inspect manufactured and raw materials at receiving per process.
• Collect data, evaluate, and present quality metrics.
• Operate FARO and Micro-Vu measurement equipment proficiently.
• Attend department meetings as required.
