Job summary

Ellwood Crankshaft Group (ECG) is seeking a non-exempt, full-time Quality Tech I at our Sharon, PA facility. You will perform material inspections, interpret drawings, and maintain calibration records to ensure conformance with specifications.

Responsibilities include pursuing ASNT Level I/II training in UT, MT, LP and supporting quality objectives across production. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints including GDT.
• Knowledge of ISO quality system and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Test materials for discontinuities using NDT methods (UT, MT, LP).
• Perform inspection of crankshafts or parts to verify conformance to drawings and specs.
• Maintain calibration standards and complete paperwork (NDT results, calibration, time entry).
• Assist in developing customer procedures/specifications with inspectors.
• Support continuous improvement and Zero Defect initiatives.
