Job summary

You will clarify quality requirements, evaluate materials, and communicate inspection results with internal teams. The role is ideal for someone early in quality or manufacturing, with a 2-year technical degree and 1+ year experience.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree, technical certification, or equivalent training with 1+ year experience in electronics, materials quality, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of inspection techniques and measuring instruments.
• Ability to monitor and maintain calibration of tools and test equipment.
• Ability to maintain high standards for inspection and documentation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and acceptability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal/external customers and clarifying product or material quality requirements.
• Inspect material or products according to technical requirements and quality standards, utilizing measurement and inspection equipment.
• Conduct material testing in alignment with industry standards under guidance of an experienced technician or engineer/scientist.
• Troubleshoot and characterize electrical and mechanical components under guidance of an experienced technician or engineer/scientist.
• Identify, contain, or evaluate nonconforming materials, parts, or products.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to address quality issues.
• Communicate quality results with stakeholders.
