Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance within the Quality Monitoring Scheme. The role includes hourly quality checks, maintaining HACCP controls, and documenting findings on production lines, with attention to safety and accuracy.

The candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple lines, and comfortable working overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post High School education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality checks on production lines hourly for each line.
• Report discrepancies in the QMS to Supervisor or Quality Manager.
• Ensure products meet legal and customer requirements per Bluebook.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately.
• Maintain 5-S and keep work areas clean.
• Maintain confidentiality of operations information.
• Maintain instrumentation and store appropriately.
• Label, store, and organize samples and product retentions.
• Follow Hold Procedures for non-conforming materials.
• Perform HACCP and Preventive Controls checks.
• Assist in test runs and new product trials.
• Perform other audits or inspections as required.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
