Job summary

Jabil is seeking a production supervisor to lead a Sunday-Tuesday shift with 6pm-6am coverage. The role focuses on supervising a team, driving quality, schedule adherence and productivity across the line, and coordinating day-to-day activities from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, basic troubleshooting skills, and experience with electronic components, process flows, and Excel/Jabil systems.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• General knowledge of electronic component handling.
• Knowledge of process flows to include flow charts and written processes.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Working Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Jabil system.

Responsibilities

• Leads and motivates work area to meet quality, schedule, yield and productivity targets.
• Oversees day-to-day production activities from start to finish.
• Performs basic troubleshooting on the production line.
• Supports changeovers on assigned equipment and ensures proper maintenance.
• Monitors CIQ system and ensures standards are met.
• Identifies quality issues and communicates with supervision for immediate action.
• Trains and guides operators to use equipment correctly.
• Acts as communication link between operators and management.

JOB SUMMARY

Shift: Sunday-Tuesday every other Wednesday 6pm-6am Provides leadership,motivationand training to work area by supervising team members and helping themmeetingthe company's goals in terms of quality, schedule,yieldand productivity according to procedure. coordinates day-to-day activities or work area, from start of flow to finish.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assesseswithmiddle-level troubleshooting on the production line, can perform basic level troubleshooting without guidance.

• Assistsonchangeovers on all equipment on assigned line(s)

• Assists with‘as-required’ preventive maintenance of equipment on assigned line(s)

• Toassistthe Manufacturing& QualitySupervisor in managing the line whenever necessary or when instructed.

• To highlighttoManufacturing& QualitySupervisor when there ishighfallout.

• Achieve daily standard set by Manufacturing& QualitySupervisor.

• Able toidentifyand develop potential operators in handling the right equipment at the right time and motivate operators for greater throughput,qualityand efficiency.

• To guide andassistthe operators in the skillsrequiredto do their jobs.

• To monitorCIQsystem and ensure it is implemented in the production line properly. Ensure work meets or exceeds all standards.

• Actively participation in the manufacturing floor toassurevisual standards.

• Identifyin real-time, quality issues/defects generated in the manufacturing process and take necessary actionsimmediately.

• To serve as a communication link between operators and management.

• Or a combination of education,experienceand/or training

• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and thegeneral public.

• Ability to define problems, collect data,establishfacts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Ability tooperatea personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.

• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.

• Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.

• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

• Ability to read andcomprehendsimple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Degree or equivalent.

• Experience must include:

• General knowledge of electroniccomponenthandling.

• Knowledge of process flows to include flow charts and written processes.

• Reading,writingand math skills.

• Working Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Jabil system.

• Strong interpersonal skillsrequired, withdemonstratedability to build andmaintainteamwork.
