Job summary

MSI Express is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure product quality through daily line audits and compliance with customer and state standards. The role involves approving batches, performing lab checks, and reporting food safety issues.

Responsibilities include performing analytical tests, coaching production on data collection, and adhering to SOPs and safety practices. The position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic lab techniques and quality checks.
• Ability to perform analytical tests per SOP.
• Must follow safety rules and document quality data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Approve/correct batches using basic lab techniques and formulas.
• Perform lab checks per SOP and monitor specified items.
• Execute pre-ops and preventive control checks.
• Notify supervisor of nonconformities and follow SOP tasks.
• Conduct analytical tests (VC, Salt, Brix, pH, DS, TA, Vit C).
• Test raw materials and finished product against specs.
• Perform audits on materials on hold and ensure food safety.
• Report Food Safety/Quality issues promptly to authorities.
• Follow company policies and coach line data collection.
• Perform other duties as instructed by management.
