Job summary

Synergy Flavors, part of the Carbery Group, is seeking a Laboratory QA Tester to join our Chicago-area team. You will test incoming raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure conformance with SOPs and specifications.

Responsibilities include performing sensory evaluations and analytical tests (pH, brix, turbidity, GC, titration), calibrating equipment, maintaining records, and generating Certificates of Analysis.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Food Science/Technology or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience or a HS diploma with 2–4 years in lab/flavor industry.
• Experience with QA/testing and laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Test daily raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Perform sensory evaluations and analyze pH, brix, turbidity, GC, titration.
• Ensure conformance to specifications and generate COAs.
• Calibrate equipment and maintain QA records.
• Maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment.
