Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect and test manufactured parts, ensuring they meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

You will use precision measuring tools, read blueprints, record inspection data, write quality reports, and assist in investigating nonconforming materials. The role also supports tool calibration, material review, and quality containment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing or engineering experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision inspection equipment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to determine if products meet specifications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Job description

The position also supports tool calibration, material review activities, and quality containment/sorting when needed.

Physical requirements

• Lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
• Stand and walk on concrete for 8–12-hour shifts.
• Perform frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Work in a noisy manufacturing environment where hearing protection may be required.
