Job summary

Curio Wellness is seeking a part-time Quality Technician I (evening shift) to support quality activities in Cultivation and Manufacturing. You will work under the Site Quality Manager to drive in-process quality and support continuous improvement.

The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow procedures. Experience with GMP and sanitation practices is preferred, and 21+ years old with compliance to state requirements.

Qualifications

  • Ensures cGMP/cGAP standards and state regulations are followed.
  • Collaborates with internal and external audit processes.
  • Participates in root cause analysis for quality outages.
  • Approves standard work for production cells, including ATP swabbing.
  • Input Lean improvements for Manufacturing quality programs.
  • Maintains daily discipline and adherence to HR policies.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED; 1+ year quality experience.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor quality policies in cultivation and manufacturing.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and outages.
  • Approve standard work for cells prior to production (ATP swabbing).
  • Contribute to Lean process improvements in manufacturing quality programs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and allergen policies.

THIS IS A PART-TIME EVENING SHIFT * MONDAY - FRIDAY 5:15 PM -10:15 PM

TheQuality Technician I is responsible for assisting with quality-related activities at our facilities.This role is designed to drive in-process quality within the Cultivation and Manufacturing areas. This role reports directly to the Site Quality Manager for continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for ensuring cGood Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) or cGood Agricultural Practices (cGAP) Standards quality policies and procedures are adhered to according to state regulations
  • Collaborate with external and internal audit processes.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for quality outages.
  • Approve standard work for cells prior to production, including ATP swabbing.
  • 100% execution of daily tasks, projects & objectives.
  • Conduct inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
  • Maintains a culture of professionalism and service.
  • Ensures daily compliance with policies, including, but not limited to, state compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
  • Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure notices.
  • Input to Lean process improvements for the Manufacturing quality programs.
  • Implementation/monitoring of sanitation practices.
  • Oversee disposal of non-conforming material (green waste).
  • Adherence to food and allergen safety policies

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 1+ year of quality experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
