Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Weekend Night Shift Quality Technician I in Las Vegas. The role focuses on QA, product inspection and compliance, with shift Friday to Sunday evenings and overtime as needed.

The candidate will apply SAP and Manhattan WMS to ensure accuracy and quality across inbound/outbound processes. Strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and experience with QA processes are essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in quality control, auditing or product inspection.
• Experience using SAP and Manhattan WMS software.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel.
• Forklift operator certificate or completion within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report QA system implementation, compliance and effectiveness through audits and metrics.
• Facilitate QA training for new and existing associates.
• Review documents prepared by team members for accuracy and legibility.
• Collaborate with QA, Ops Performance and Process Improvement teams on quality initiatives.
• Lead/coordinate QA license, permit and registration activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform daily quality assurance activities as directed by management.
• Lead development of QMS documentation.

Position: Weekend Night Shift Quality Technician I
Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, overtime based on business needs
Pay: $23.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in the following:

-Ensure accurate checking, inspecting and/or counting of all products for both inbound and outbound departments and ensuring all product is free of damage or defect.

-Auditing product and packaging/labeling to maintain highest level of product compliance and accuracy

-Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and shipping address of orders correspond to customer specifications or other requirements.

-MUST have experience using SAP and Manhattan commercial WMS (warehouse management system) software.

-Microsoft Office software, including Excel.

Role Purpose:

Provide leadership, training, support and disciplines for establishment, maintenance, alignment and continual improvement of the QA System. Responsible for day-to-day Quality Assurance activities to ensure compliance with governmental regulations, customer requirements, quality assurance policies and procedures and accommodating requests for support. Leads QA team. Assigns QA team work schedules, directs team, trains associates in required QA processes and monitor’s associates’ compliance and progress.

Key Accountabilities:

• Monitor and report level of QMS implementation, compliance and effectiveness through audit activities, observation, review of quality metrics and customer feedback.
• Facilitate QA training for new and existing associates.
• Review documents and instruction prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
• Work with Quality Assurance, Ops Performance and Process Improvement teams to progress Quality initiatives. Incorporate QA, OP and PIM tools and methodologies, as appropriate, in performance of tasks.
• Recommends appropriate methods for supporting the site operations’ requirements for quality assurance compliance.
• Lead/support coordination of QA license, permit and registration activities and provide direction for compliance with FDA, DEA, ATF, State and other similar regulatory requirements.
• Perform daily quality assurance activities as required or directed by management.
• Lead and facilitate development of QMS documentation.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• Associate degree or equivalent in related field of study, preferred
