Job summary

Altium Packaging is hiring a Quality Technician in Phoenix, AZ to audit, test and measure finished goods ensuring adherence to customer standards. The role follows GMP practices and supports continuous improvement across molding, packaging and loading processes.

The candidate will perform laboratory tests, collect samples, inspect raw materials, and communicate issues to shift leaders. A high school diploma and 1 year of related experience are required; ASQ certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• ASQ certification or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to apply basic statistical methods and GMP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Audit, test and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards.
• Apply GMP policies and maintain safety standards.
• Use statistical tools to monitor plant performance.
• Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at intervals.
• Perform process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and report deviations.
• Conduct cycle counts of finished goods and inventory as needed.
• Report quality issues to management and shift leaders.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.
