Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Quality Technician in Phoenix to audit, test and measure finished goods to meet customer standards and GMP requirements. The 12hr A Shift runs 7a-7:30p in Phoenix, AZ.

The role emphasizes applying statistics, performing laboratory testing, and conducting inspections during molding, packaging and loading. Growth opportunities include continuous improvement and collaboration with management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of related experience.
• ASQ certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Apply statistical tools to monitor plant performance and finished goods.
• Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals.
• Seek process improvements and report to management.
• Audit compliance with GMP policies.
• Perform process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
• Audit for compliance to control plan requirements including process parameters.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials.
• Complete dimensional checks and report on product.
• Perform in-process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
• Perform cycle counts and/or inventory of finished goods.
• Communicate quality issues to appropriate personnel and shift leaders.
• Other duties as assigned by management; overtime may be required.
