Job summary

McDonald Plastic Molding is seeking a Quality Layout Technician to perform first article inspections on new products, transfer parts, and updated parts. You will help create quality processes and programs for the CMM and support process capability studies.

High school diploma required with 6 months to 1 year related experience; knowledge of blueprint reading and CMM layout is a plus. Benefits include major medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). This is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and GD&T; interpret drawings accurately.
• Experience with first article inspections and layout methods.
• Ability to create inspection instructions and quality records.

Responsibilities

• Create bubbled prints and FAIR forms.
• Determine inspection methods to measure parts.
• Perform first article inspections and annual layouts.
• Maintain SPC software data and perform gage R&R studies.
• Assist in creating FMEA, control plans, and flow charts.
