Job summary

McDonald Plastic Molding is seeking a Process Technician to perform startup on new production runs, improve efficiencies, and drive continuous improvement. The role involves equipment troubleshooting, setting up changeovers, and documenting all production activities.

Responsibilities include daily workstation checks, collaboration with engineering and quality teams, and maintaining safe, organized manufacturing operations. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Start up a new production run after mold sets are complete.
• Troubleshoot process issues with equipment and tooling and take corrective action.
• Document and record processes for all production runs for each customer.
• Perform daily rounds and checks at each workstation to ensure equipment and waterlines are functioning.
• Set up and changeover equipment for various production of sample jobs.
