Job summary

The incumbent will apply NCR and 8D methods, perform daily audits, and collaborate with engineering, production, safety, and vendors to drive COPQ down. Strong measurement skills and reading drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience using calipers, micrometers or tape measures for in-depth quality checks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and verify conformance.
• Experience with data collection and NCR/8D methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily activities to identify non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Initiate, manage and close NCRs using 8D approach.
• Escalate recurring issues to QA Engineers for resolution.
• Ensure a quality product passes through all manufacturing stations.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, safety, and vendors to resolve quality issues.
• Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Update customer issue responses in portals or NCR system as needed.
