Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong communication skills to speak effectively before groups of customers, team members, and suppliers.
• Basic math and measurement skills; ability to apply algebra/geometry as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Production Team member training for Quality acceptance criteria.
• Inspection and/or Testing to evaluate quality of raw materials per specification.
• Assist with process, part, and Standard Work changes implementation.
• Evaluate parts/materials per Customer specified requirements.
• Monitor Production quality per Customer acceptance criteria.
• Complete first-off inspections and prescribed frequency checks.
• Inspect, evaluate, and disposition Customer returns.
• Communicate out-of-spec conditions to Quality, Manufacturing, and Support groups.
• Internal auditing; training effectiveness audits.
• Travel to locations for part inspection as needed.
• Other duties as needed.
