Job summary

Autokiniton is hiring a Quality Technician for our Avon, Ohio plant. You will perform first/last piece approvals, run hourly inspections, and support containment of defects while collaborating with the Quality team to maintain product standards.

The position operates on a 3rd shift (10pm–6am) at $21.50 per hour plus a $1 shift differential, full-time status, and reports to the Quality Manager as part of our manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
• Effective email and electronic communication, including TEAMS.
• Ability to read gauges and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform first and last piece approvals for production to ensure quality.
• Perform inspections hourly/bi-hourly.
• Conduct gage and fixture studies as required.
• Monitor, assist in containment of defective material and escalation as needed.
• Create and issue sort and rework instructions to ensure nonconforming product is handled accordingly.
• Perform basic weld destructs and inspections at required intervals.
• Create and issue QC alerts and review with associates and supervisors.
• Create and maintain rework area and ensure work instructions and samples are correct and in place.
• Perform internal sorting activities by daily assignment.
