Job summary

SITE Staffing Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect production material, perform 1st piece and receiving inspections, and support calibration and process audits.

You will qualify parts using PPAP and FAIR, work with GD&T and SPC, read blueprints, and help implement ISO 9001:2015 practices while collaborating with internal teams and customers.

This on-site role offers a 7am–3pm schedule and pay of $22–$24 per hour, with compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate or equivalent; 3–6 years related experience.
• Knowledge of measuring tools and blueprints for machined parts.
• Familiarity with GD&T, SPC and ISO 9001:2015 practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect production material including 1st piece inspections and receiving inspections.
• Remove defective items with proper identification and rationale.
• Report defects to the appropriate manager.
• Manage calibration system including outside service calibrations and calibrating hand gages.
• Support new product development and continuous improvement with quality tools.
• Qualify parts using PPAP and FAIR per AIAG guidelines.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding quality.
• Create and maintain quality documentation and reports.
• CMM Programming (Micro Vu).
• Promote quality improvements across the organization.
