TekniPlex is seeking a Quality Tech for 1st shift at our North Madison, WI facility. This role focuses on inspection, testing, and documentation of quality for goods in production and finished products, with a pay range of $21.00–$24.00 per hour.

You will perform inspections, follow OHSE and quality systems, inspect raw materials, and maintain thorough records. The position requires a High School diploma and 1–3 years QC experience, with benefits and a comprehensive program offered by TekniPlex.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; chemistry background preferred.
• 1–3 years of quality control experience preferred.
• Ability to use gauges and calipers as part of QC inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and quality control tests to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Understand and follow OHSE and quality systems to maintain a safe workplace.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and finished products for compliance.
• Maintain records of tests, inspection results and observations.
• Notify production of deviations and mark deviant products accordingly.
• Assist with setup and cleanup of presses when machines are down.
• Support site in meeting quality objectives.
