Job summary

L3Harris Space and Airborne Systems in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Quality Technician for a high‑performance team. You will perform inspections, tests and audits of advanced hardware, including microelectronics and integrated systems, ensuring conformance to procedures and safety standards.

You will support root-cause and corrective actions, verify product state, and collaborate with Quality Engineers to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and relevant experience; or 2-year degree with related experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and obtain DoD clearance (Secret or higher).
• Experience inspecting complex electronic hardware to IPC standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, tests, analyses and audits of complex developmental products.
• Assist in rework/repair of subassemblies and system-level platforms.
• Ensure safety, reliability and hardware traceability for end-item systems.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers on inspection requirements and plans.
• Travel to suppliers and other L3Harris locations as needed.
