Job summary

OKE Group GmbH is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support APQP and PPAP activities in an automotive manufacturing environment. You will prepare quality documents, coordinate submissions, perform dimensional layouts, and assist with IMDS entries and periodic revalidations.

This role collaborates with quality, engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure accuracy and timely approvals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education preferred.
  • Experience in quality, inspection, engineering support, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, control plans, SPC is a plus.
  • Experience with IMDS or automotive quality requirements preferred.
  • Proficient with Excel and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, update, and maintain PPAP packages and related quality documentation.
  • Support initial PPAP submissions, resubmissions, and periodic product revalidations.
  • Maintain records, document revisions, and customer-specific forms.
  • Create and update IMDS entries and coordinate submissions with suppliers, engineering, and customers.
  • Track customer approvals and resolve missing information or required corrections.
  • Perform dimensional measurements for product approvals and engineering changes.
  • Review engineering drawings to verify revisions and dimensional requirements.
  • Support internal and customer audits related to APQP and PPAP.
  • Maintain tooling, process, and product information in portals and systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support our Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities. In this role, you will prepare and maintain quality documentation, coordinate customer submissions, perform dimensional layouts, and support IMDS entries and periodic product revalidations. You will work closely with quality, engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure documentation is accurate, requirements are met, and approvals are completed on time. This position offers an excellent opportunity to expand your technical quality experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.$16.00 an hour

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, update, and maintain PPAP packages and related quality documentation
  • Support initial PPAP submissions, resubmissions, and periodic product revalidations

  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education or training preferred
  • Previous experience in quality, inspection, engineering support, technical documentation, or manufacturing preferred
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality documentation
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use basic measuring tools preferred
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, control plans, SPC, or quality systems is a plus but not required
  • Experience with IMDS, customer portals, or automotive quality requirements preferred
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and practical problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to learn customer-specific quality requirements, systems, and documentation processes
  • Ability to work independently and follow assignments through completion
  • Ability to perform job duties requiring prolonged standing and walking, occasional bending and material handling, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items weighing 25–50 lbs., with sufficient stamina to work safely in a manufacturing environment
