Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Quality Technician to support QA testing and in-process quality checks in a manufacturing setting. The role involves collecting samples, running QA tests, and ensuring compliance with specifications. Shift options include 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am, with occasional Saturdays.

Must have QA experience in manufacturing, strong math and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong math and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples, perform QA tests on finished and incoming goods following test methods and specifications.
• Make dispositions on raw materials, returned goods, and daily production.
• Participate in writing work instructions and continuous improvement efforts.
• Complete required quality reporting and perform data analysis.
• Perform and complete other work as assigned by supervisor and assist other departments as needed.
• Responsible for quality performance on designated work shift.
