Job summary

Polaris Industries in Huntsville, AL, seeks a quality inspector to perform inspection and measurement of parts, document findings, and support product lines with rapid problem resolution. You will work with multiple departments to ensure non-conforming materials are addressed and improvements are implemented.

You should have a High School diploma or GED, with AA or specialized training preferred, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; AA degree or specialized training preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills, both written and verbal.
Working knowledge of statistics and basic math; SPC experience.
Ability to operate critical measurement and test equipment.
Must be able to read blueprints, processes routings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

Inspect and measure parts, components, and assemblies per procedures.
Document all inspections and qualifications using established formats.
Support ORV product lines with prompt problem identification and resolution.
Coordinate with departments to obtain prompt dispositions and corrective actions.
Develop or improve clear inspection procedures to save time and improve quality.
Perform duties assigned by Supervisor and work overtime as needed.
