Job summary

Valeo, a global automotive supplier, is seeking a Production Operator for the Site Quality - J team. This full-time, permanent role works on the 2nd shift (4:00 PM – 1:00 AM) and focuses on QRQC, stop-scrap procedures, and maintaining quality checkpoints to ensure product conformity.

You will monitor daily quality indicators, support receiving inspection duties, and escalate any roadblocks to the Quality Manager. A high school diploma and about 1 year in a quality/inspection role is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED is required.
• 1 year of Quality Technician, Quality Control, or similar experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply QRQC Methodology
• Implement Stop Scrap Procedures
• Support Customer Quality Events
• Use quality measurement tools to verify product conformity
• Contact supplier as soon as an issue is detected with a purchased component to get the supplier to organize the containment
• Confirm the robustness of the containment by looking for recurrence after containment has been set
• Support to manage PQA status
• Detect, analyze, report and follow-up internal quality incidents
• Capture daily quality indicator information from each area
• Support receiving inspection duties
• Support implementation and maintenance of work instructions and quality checkpoints
• Escalate to Quality manager for any roadblock with the supplier regarding the incident problem solving activity or the yearly component conformity.
• Participate in QRQC in APU and Plant when required
