Job summary

MS Companies is seeking a Quality Operations Team Lead for the 2nd shift to supervise inspectors, uphold quality standards, and drive performance in a manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes safety, process improvement, and customer satisfaction, with a focus on coaching and data-driven decisions.

Qualified candidates bring 2–3 years of supervisory experience, familiarity with quality systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment.
• Experience with quality systems and process improvements.
• Proficiency with digital systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of quality inspectors to ensure performance, productivity, and quality standards are consistently met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work environment to support safety and efficiency
• Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and client‑specific requirements
• Develop, implement, and maintain work instructions and quality processes
• Monitor production processes, control points, equipment, and personnel to ensure quality standards are achieved
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, drive improvements, and support cost reduction initiatives
• Communicate expectations clearly; monitor performance and provide ongoing feedback and coaching
• Address employee relations matters including attendance, performance, and behavioral concerns in partnership with HR
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to support operational success and career growth
• Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and service excellence
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to meet production demands and customer requirements
• Accurately enter and manage time, production data, and other required inputs within company systems
