Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for an evening shift in Franklin Park, IL. You will perform in‑process inspections, verify test results, calibrate equipment and manage QA documentation to meet standards.

Candidates typically have 2–5 years in manufacturing, with QA testing equipment experience and knowledge of quality processes. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent.
• Prior QA experience with testing equipment is strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of quality processes and manufacturing basics.
• SQF or other quality certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures and perform in‑process inspections and test verifications.
• Ensure QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Document, sample and quarantine non-conforming material and maintain sample records.
• Complete certificates of analysis and related documentation; monitor quality communications.
• Assist with production floor activities and communicate with leadership as needed.
