Job summary

Textum is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to support daily fabric testing, material inspections, and production readiness in a manufacturing setting. You will document results in Syteline, track defects, and maintain calibration records, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities include internal audits, nonconformance handling, and assisting with NPI and FAIR reports. A high school diploma is required; a technical degree is preferred and familiarity with AS9100/AS9102

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with AS9100/AS9102 is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems (Syteline or similar) and reading drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily fabric testing and record results in ERP system (Syteline).
• Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished goods.
• Review and digitally track loom inspection data and defects.
• Verify job setups and approve production readiness.
• Maintain nonconformance logs and control nonconforming materials.
• Ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping in compliance with quality standards.
• Perform in-house calibration of inspection tools and maintain calibration records.
• Coordinate external calibrations and support out-of-tolerance investigations.
• Conduct internal audits (workstation, FOD) and issue corrective actions (CARs).
• Review shipping documentation for accuracy and traceability.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and compile First Article inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Verify employee training and maintain compliance records.
