Job description

Position: Quality Technician – Experience Preferred

Location: Franklin

Pay Rate: $26.14 per hour

Shift Requirement: Must be willing to work either 2nd shift or 3rd shift

2nd Shift Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

3rd Shift Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Schedule Requirement: Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Summary Description

While reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for problem solving to ensure the quality expectations of every customer, both internal and external, are met. This role includes measuring critical product and process variables, recording and reporting results, and using information to support continuous improvement efforts.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collect and analyze quality-related data from production or service functions and report findings
  • Measure critical dimensions and perform tests such as seals, COF, and gas chromatograms
  • Support laboratory functions and production-related quality activities
  • File production trace documents and maintain quality records
  • Perform auxiliary production support tasks such as color standard verification
  • Follow testing methods and standards that improve product quality and consistency
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
  • Actively contribute to plant quality meetings, metrics reviews, and improvement efforts
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Perform duties assigned by supervisor or manager
  • Support TOPPAN quality and safety policies
  • Assist other departments as needed

  • You have recent relevant quality experience, preferably in manufacturing or
  • You have a strong interest in quality and are willing to be trained

  • You have working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • You can analyze data and identify trends
  • You are comfortable using rulers, calipers, and testing equipment
  • You work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • You have a high school diploma
  • You can read and understand manufacturing instructions
  • You can stand for long periods of time
  • You can meet physical requirements including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., stretching, stooping, and reaching
