Job summary

Panduit is seeking a Quality Technician to help drive manufacturing quality across our Northwest Indiana distribution hub. You will troubleshoot quality issues, calibrate test equipment, and support audits to maintain high standards.

You will collaborate with engineering and the customer experience team on investigations, manage inspection plans, and help drive continuous improvement in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in quality role with root cause analysis & customer service investigations.
• Familiarity with basic quality principles and continuous improvement tools.
• Understanding of statistics including control charts, variation, process capability, and Gage R&R.
• Experience using and calibrating measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMMs) and maintaining M&TE records.
• Proficient in blueprint reading (GD&T), inspection methods, and sampling plans.
• Proficient with data entry, Microsoft Office, and Minitab.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs up to 4 hours a day.

• Inspection Planning: Maintain inspection forms, storyboards, and databases with cross‑functional teams.
• Quality Improvement: Report quality issues, compile data for reports, join improvement teams.
• System Audits: Support internal quality audits, ensure accurate documentation.

Keeping the returns area clean and maintaining a low number of customer complaints are two top priorities in our brand-new, 400,000 sq. ft. distribution facility. What You Will Do:

• System Audits: Support internal quality audits, ensuring accurate documentation of details.

What You Will Bring

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience: 3-5 years in quality role, with experience running root cause analysis and customer service investigations.
• Quality Knowledge: Familiarity with basic quality principles, standards, and continuous improvement tools.
• Statistics Knowledge: Understanding of key statistical concepts including control charts, variation types, process capability, and Gage R&R.
• Calibration Knowledge: Experience using and calibrating a variety of measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs) and maintaining M&TE records.
• Testing Experience: Skilled in blueprint reading (including GD&T), inspection methods, and sampling plans.
• Computer Skills: Proficient with data entry, Microsoft Office, and Minitab.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs up to 4 hours a day.

Compensation:

The expected base pay range for this role is $22 - $28 an hour. This position is eligible for 15% shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
