Job summary

nVent is seeking a Quality Technician to support day-to-day quality activities within our Distribution Center in Dayton, MN. This hands-on role performs inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure shipments meet standards, working closely with Distribution and Logistics teams to prevent issues and support continuous improvement.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year in quality or related fields, and the ability to obtain a stand-up forklift license within two weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in quality, warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain stand-up forklift license within 2 weeks of starting.

Responsibilities

• Perform inbound and outbound inspections and freight audits.
• Monitor quality performance across receiving, warehousing, and shipping processes.
• Collect and enter quality data; support routine KPI reporting.
• Assist with containment activities and corrective actions.
