Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician at multiple levels in Wisconsin. You will support the parts quality process, ensure precision and inspection of incoming items, and assist in maintaining the Quality Management System across the facility.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 5:00AM - 3:30PM. Responsibilities include leading problem solving for quality issues, implementing corrective actions, gage calibration, GR&R, audits and MRB activities, while adhering to policies and

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 0–3 years in quality.
  • Quality experience scales with I/II/III levels and corresponding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead problem solving for quality issues.
  • Implement resolutions from basic to complex problems.
  • Implement process improvements.
  • Lead team adherence to Quality Control Plans and mistake proofing.
  • Conduct process and product audits.
  • Conduct standardized problem-solving and corrective actions.
  • Support gage calibration and GR&R.
  • Participate in MRB review and corrective actions.
  • Adhere to company policies and state/federal regulations.

In partnership with internal business units, this role ensures the precision and inspection of parts moving into the facility. This role supports Quality Management Systems, drives data collection, reporting and analysis.
