In this role, you will perform daily inspections of bottling lines, ensuring that finished goods packaging requirements are consistently met. Your keen eye for detail will aid in routine data analysis, recognizing unexpected deviations, and performing minor troubleshooting, while keeping the Supervisor informed of all findings and providing recommendations for routine situations.
You will play an essential role in the “Hold” process, creating holds when sampled products do not meet outlined specifications, and engaging teams to work on releasing the product hold. Collecting samples from bottling lines to ensure machinery does not contaminate products is a crucial part of your responsibilities. You will review, report, and trend quality data for complete and accurate results from the bottling line.
Your expertise in performing lab testing, including volumetric, CO2, holdback reading, brix, and alcohol, will be invaluable. Additionally, you will collect data, track metrics, defects, and test results, reporting your findings to your supervisor. Your role involves providing training on quality control product analyses, bottling quality assurance, and record-keeping procedures, ensuring our team is well-equipped to maintain high standards.
Supporting the company’s calibration and preventative maintenance program, you will perform quality checks and evaluations, taking appropriate actions to ensure result accuracy. You will utilize profiling, quality tools, and various data sources to determine causes of quality issues, working collaboratively with operations/quality teams to correct issues and suggest improvement opportunities.
Practicing safe work habits and maintaining a clean and orderly work area and instrumentation is paramount. Your role requires satisfactory attendance and compliance with applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulations.

What You Will Need:• High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years of production/operations or quality assurance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. OR• Associate of science degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biology or Engineering plus 1 year of laboratory, or quality assurance experience;• Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.• Skilled in writing simple correspondence.• Skilled in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.• Required flexibility in working overtime and weekends as needed.• Required to lift and move product and samples weighing up to 45 pounds.• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.• Required to be 18 years or older.
