ManpowerGroup in South Bend, IN is seeking a Quality Technician to perform inspections and ensure parts meet quality standards. You will read blueprints and GD&T, document findings, and contribute to accuracy and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

This hands-on role involves using calipers, gauges, and micrometers, with a focus on weld inspection and precise measurement. Growth opportunities exist within the quality and manufacturing teams.

Formación

• Quality Control or Quality Technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience inspecting welded products.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Experience using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect welded components to confirm compliance with specifications and workmanship requirements.
• Conduct weld testing, including cut and etch testing, to validate weld quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure correct inspection criteria.
• Complete and maintain quality documentation and inspection records, including SPC data entry as required.

As a Quality Technician, you’ll help ensure every part leaving the shop meets the required quality standards. If you enjoy hands‑on inspection work, reading blueprints, and turning detailed observations into clear documentation, this role in South Bend, IN is built for you. You’ll be part of a manufacturing team focused on accuracy, continuous improvement, and doing things the right way—every time.

Job Title: Quality Technician

Pay Range: $20-$25/hour (Based on Experience)

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What's the Job?
