Job summary

IntelliSource is seeking a Quality Technician to join our team at USA Parkway. The role includes performing audits, using precision gauges, and supporting calibration efforts to ensure product conformance.

You will monitor scrap, document findings, and coordinate sorting activities while assisting the Quality Engineer and training operators on quality procedures. Reliable transportation is required and shifts include night hours.

Qualifications

• 2 years of quality auditing experience.
• Strong computer skills and data entry ability.
• Must be reliable, team-player and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Support safety protocols in the plant.
• Perform process audits and quality documentation on production lines.
• Use gauges and measurement tools to verify parts quality.
• Assist in gauge calibration with the lab and identify equipment out of calibration.
• Monitor scrap, create reports, and address defects during shifts.
• Coordinate sorting and train others to perform sorting.
• Support the Quality Engineer with additional tasks.
• Ensure 100% completion of Helium/Energy mapping at end of shift.
• Escalate issues and stop production for non-conformity when needed.
• Participate in Problem Solving Group on the line.
• Train operators on quality work instructions and documents.
• Run Datapaq per schedule or as needed.
• Report daily quality results.

IntelliSource is looking to hire a Quality Technician located on USA Parkway. We have partnered with an exciting organization and we're on the hunt for a motivated individuals who want to join our team.

• Hours: Wed 1AM-7AM & Thurs-Sat 7PM-7AM
• No shuttles are available

What You'll Do:

• Support all safety protocols in the plant
• Responsible for all the process audits, such as: -5S. -Respect of the product -QRAP board -Quality standards - First piece article (FPA) -All other quality-related paperwork on production lines.
• Use and understand gauges, calipers, digital indicators, feeler gauges, etc.
• Support gauge calibration with the lab (Identify equipment that is out of calibration or expired.
• Monitor scrap, create a scrap report and identify other defects during your shift & support reactivity of issues.
• Launch and coordinate sorting activities and train others to perform sorting.
• Support the Quality Engineer with additional activities.
• Make sure Helium mapping/Energy mapping is completed 100% at the end of the shift.
• Use boundary samples to verify if parts are OK.
• Escalate issues when needed and report findings during daily audits.
• Stop production in case of non-conformity detections, **escalate** the issue with the Quality Technician, and ensure sorting of production to eliminate all non-conforming parts and secure customer deliveries
• Participate in the PSG ( Problem Solving Group) on the line.
• Proceeds with operator training regarding any quality work instruction or any other quality document, such as the Book of Defects, Firewall inspection, EOL, etc.
• Report on quality results on a daily basis.
• Responsible for running Datapaq according to the schedule or when needed.

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2 years of quality auditing experience.
• Must be reliable, team-player, driven, demonstrate respect for safety and an eye for quality.
• Production Quality application, laboratory work and other experience with measurement products. Work in the automotive industry
• Strong Computer Skills, Basic Data Entry.
• You must have your own transportation for this position.
