Davita Inc. is seeking a Quality Tech responsible for performing testing on in-line and finished products, ensuring quality standards are met. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, and be skilled in documentation and maintaining laboratory equipment. This role offers a competitive hourly pay and benefits, with a flexible schedule.
JOB OVERVIEW:
Quality Tech is responsible for performing testing of in-line and finished products, swabbing tanks for cleanliness following CIPs, and completing all required documentation to ensure all Ready-to-drink (RTD) product meets specifications.
Schedule: 12H rotation | 5pm-530am + OT
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform in-line and finished product testing, including organoleptic and analytical testing
Perform ATP and allergen testing
Assist with microbiological plating
Be familiar with all SOPs of the lab
Maintain accurate and legible documentation
File and maintain retain samples
Calibrate, clean, and maintain lab equipment and area
Complete observations as assigned
Ability to think critically and address potential issues
Follow established programs, policies and GMP practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements
Applies knowledge of quality standards and tools to improve food safety and quality
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred education equivalent to a minimum of a 4-year degree in biology, chemistry, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience). Minimum education high school diploma or GED and one year of relevant work experience
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Basic math and computer skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to abide by all required Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background).

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Compensation Range:$24.50-$32.50, plus bonus.
