Job summary

The Timken Company, Rollon division, is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure parts meet the highest standards on the shop floor. You will perform inspections, support continuous improvement, read customer drawings, and assist with audits and reporting in a first-shift role.

Purpose

In this position you will be responsible for administering our quality program and continuous improvement initiatives, which includes: conducting quality inspections and investigations, first piece inspections/approvals, quality audits (internal and external), working with CMM, Faro laser scanner and tracker, gaging and gage calibrations, creating and updating quality documentation, reviewing product documentation, reviewing and interpreting customer specifications and drawings, training team members on quality processes, and processing RMAs to ensure our customers continue to receive the highest quality products that Rollon is known for.

This is a first shift position.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Completed HS diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a Quality role required, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship - no sponsorship is available for this position
  • The ability to read, write, and speak fluently in the English language
