Job description

Krueger Bearings is a leading provider in contract machining and custom machined parts.

This position is responsible for inspecting intricate machined parts. The work requires a thorough knowledge of inspection techniques with a high degree of attention to detail. The inspector will effectively read and interpret blueprints and dimensions. The inspector will approve or reject in-process inspections and make final inspections for acceptable standards.

1st OR 2nd shift openings available!

Essential Duties:

• Perform First article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections.
• Assist in simple receiving inspection operations, checking for conformance to specifications and PO requirements.
• Examine machined products for surface defects such as cracks, pits, dents, burrs, and nicks.
• Verify specified dimensions of products or materials using standard inspection tools like bore gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, micrometers, indicators, calipers, etc.
• Perform chemical etch, ink stamp, laser etch.
• Accurately complete all required inspection results.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following all standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop routings, including GD&T.
• Visual acuity to read directions and prints closely to ensure parts meet specifications.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of inspection experience in a job shop environment.
