Job description

Position: Quality Technician

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Hourly Salary: $36.80

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 4 on, 3 off; 3 off 4 on schedule

While reporting to the Plant Quality Manager, as a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that the quality expectations of every customer, both internal and external, are met or exceeded. Safety, quality, productivity, and a strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conduct required offline testing and audits for products to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure customer returns are checked in and feedback is completed on time.
• Assist in analyzing customer returns.

• Participate in customer visits when required.
• Able to interpret information and data to apply team concepts.
• Maintain lab cleanliness, put up retains, maintain job jackets.

We'd love to hear from you if:

• You possess at least 2 years of quality experience.
• Packing and warehousing experience is extremely helpful.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Works overtime as required.
