FSQ Technician

Shift hours:

8-hour shifts

  • 3rd shift- 10:30pm- 6:30am
  • Currently hiring for 3rd shift

Schedule Pattern:

  • Monday - Friday and every 3rd weekend

Pay:

  • $27.60 per hour
  • Pay for skill program- increase given once you are at advance level $30.99

Our Milwaukee manufacturing cite is located in a big city, with big city amenities, but with a lower cost than most. Our site was originally owned by the Gardetto family, who created Gardetto’s by using any broken breadsticks leftover in their plant combined with seasonings! What your day will look like:

  • Creating high quality foods that are eaten EVERYDAY, NATIONWIDE
  • Using TECHNOLOGY in an industry-leading facility
  • Working with HIGH-LEVEL operators on EXPERIENCED teams that are looking to pass down their knowledge to workers WILLING TO LEARN and get paid doing it.

    • Inspecting incoming raw materials, perform required analytical/physical testing and COA comparison
    • Inspecting incoming raw materials, perform required analytical/physical testing and COA comparison
    • Evaluating in-process and finished product and performing required analytical/physical testing
    • Manage and lead foreign material investigations and resolution
    • Manage hold process
    • Conduct equipment inspection during shut down or change over sanitation
    • Conduct and document monitoring checks of product safety devices (eg. screens, magnets, metal detectors etc.)
    • Management of sensory program
    • Coordination and communication of quality data to operations
    • Providing guidance and support for all plant employees with regards to quality parameters, product requirements, and regulatory/food safety concerns
    • Perform additional task as needed

What you have to offer:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred
  • Ability to solve diverse procedural problems within well-defined standards by selecting from learned responses.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft systems (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and Maximo (CMMS).
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot basic electrical circuits. Must display a willingness to learn additional electrical skills.

Physical requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
  • Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
  • Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required
  • Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
  • Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
  • Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
