Job summary

Jushi Holdings Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician to help maintain and improve product quality through inspections, testing, and collaboration with production teams.

The role emphasizes adherence to cGMP standards and regulatory requirements, along with accurate documentation and data entry. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and about 1 year of experience in a quality function, preferably in pharmaceutical or food/beverage production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of quality function experience preferred in pharma or food/beverage manufacturing.
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and CFR applicability.
• Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to lift and move objects as needed per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory inspections to monitor traceability of plant/product movement.
• Perform or assist in quality control inspections to verify product quality requirements.
• Document inspection results and input data into quality databases.
• Communicate discrepancies to team leads and participate in corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, cGMP, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in problem solving for process improvements.
• Conduct visual inspections for adulterants and defects.

• Conduct inventory inspections to monitor and ensure traceability of plant/product movement throughout the facility.
• Perform or assist in quality control inspections as directed to confirm established product quality requirements have been achieved.
• Promptly communicate identified discrepancies to team leads and document accordingly. Investigates & participates in correction activities as directed.
• Accurately complete documentation & enter data to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strict adherence to established procedures.
• Participate in problem solving activities to drive process improvements.
• Conduct visual inspections of cannabis for organic and inorganic adulterants and defects.
• Keep equipment (i.e., scales, tools, etc) in good, working order.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs), adhering to cGMP SOPs, and complying with legal regulations
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs and inputting data into quality database
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 1 year experience working in a quality function preferably in pharmaceutical or food/beverage production manufacturing.
• Knowledgeable in current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to include the application of Code of Federal Regulations
• Detail Oriented
• Occasionally Twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl
• The ability to communicate orally with management and other co-workers is crucial. Sitting or standing for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
• Some heavy lifting may be required
