Job summary

Dentsply Sirona is seeking a Quality Technician to test and inspect finished goods at the distribution center, compiling results to ensure product quality and reliability. You will follow standard QA procedures and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include data recording, examining inspection results, and coordinating with suppliers on non-conformances while adhering to SOPs and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BS/BA in life sciences preferred.
• Equivalent mix of education and experience considered for regulatory roles.

Responsibilities

• Review SOPs, Specs and PCOs (related documents).
• Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products.
• Completes special projects and work requests.
• Documents complaint information and investigates complaints.
• Routinely performs 5S activities in QA areas.
• Follows QA processes with minimal direction.
• Reads and follows SOPs and policies and procedures.
• Generates SCARs, if needed, and issues to suppliers.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Quality Technician will test and inspect products for finished goods received at the distribution center and compiles results to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Records data, certificates, or inspection plans applying quality control procedures.
• Evaluates results to release finished goods or indicate non-conformance from existing standards.
• Review revised SOP’s, Specs and PCO’s (related documents)
• Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests, inspections on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life or material characteristics.
• Completes special projects and work requests.
• Documents complaint information and investigates complaint information.
• Routinely performs 5S activities in the quality area(s) ensuring efficiently organized and cleaned.
• Follows QA processes with minimal direction
• Ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures and other policies and procedures.
• Can generate SCARs, if needed, and issues to suppliers, enters information into database.
• Other duties as assigned.

Background:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in a technical discipline, preferably within a life sciences field, strongly preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience in domestic and international regulatory submissions, design control systems, and/or regulatory compliance will be considered.

• 2-3 years related experience in science or math
