Job summary

Dentsply Sirona is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse functions including shipment, receiving, and inventory control. The role emphasizes accurate paperwork, use of RF scanners, and safe operation of forklifts, with opportunities to cross-train and cover multiple duties.

The position requires a high school diploma (GED acceptable) and basic computer skills. Prior forklift certification is preferred, and strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and e-mail/Internet.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRO or other data-entry systems.
• Ability to perform basic math and arithmetic.
• Ability to read and understand SOPs, WIs and other technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete and file required paperwork in a timely manner with attention to detail.
• Use RF Smart Scanners and the MRP system for transactions.
• Operate forklift equipment safely and complete daily safety checks.
• Work independently and in teams to achieve department goals.
• Cross-train and cover for others as needed; rotate duties.
• Follow all safety policies and wear PPE.
• Perform periodic stock checks and inventory transactions.
