Job summary

ManpowerGroup client in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Quality Technician to join the Quality Assurance Department and support production and inspection teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude.

Position offers a Monday–Friday shift (7am–4pm) with pay range $20–$22 per hour, DOE. Temporary position with potential for extension. Steel toe shoes are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience inspecting parts against blueprints.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret specifications.
• Steel toe shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Work directly on the production floor to ensure quality in processes and product outcomes.
• Assemble standard hydraulic power units accurately and efficiently.
• Perform incoming inspections and First Article Inspections on new cylinders from overseas suppliers.
• Understand and follow quality assurance systems, processes, and procedures.
• Inspect manufactured products to meet customer requirements.

What's the Job?

• Work directly on the production floor to ensure quality in processes and product outcomes

• Accurately and efficiently build and assemble standard hydraulic power units

• Perform incoming inspections on components and First Article Inspections on new cylinders from overseas suppliers

• Understand and follow quality assurance systems, processes, and procedures

• Inspect the quality of manufactured products to meet customer needs

What's Needed?

• High School diploma/GED

• At least one-year work-related experience

• Experience with inspections of parts and components compared to blueprints

• Use of common measuring tools and gauges, and calibration of those tools

• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents

• Steel toe shoes
